The VIO POV1.5 is the latest offering from VIO - it features a separate recording unit and camera head to provide flexible mounting options and a wide variety of features. The POV1.5 comes pre-loaded with the firmware upgrade that allows you to use up to an 8GB Sd card and the POV1.5 comes with its own 4GB SD card, which will hold 3 hours of footage on the highest quality settings.

The screen on the recording unit allows you to set up your camera angle and play back your clips so that you can check out the action before getting home. The colour screen and user friendly interface makes the POV1.5 the easiest camera on the market to use.

The POV1.5 is packed full of features, yet it is easy to use. The simple interface allows you to set-up the POV1.5 to suit your needs and makes recording a breeze. The recording unit has a keylock feature so that you can be confident it records when you want.

The wireless remote allows you to control your recording without having to see the recording unit. Stop and start recording and also tag your clips. The tag function bookmarks your clips so that you can go right to the action when you get it home.

You can watch your clips back on the colour LCD screen and also use it to ensure you get the perfect camera angle every time.

The POV1.5 runs on 4 x AA batteries and will run for 4-5 hours on a set of average rechargeable batteries. For those wanting more power, you can use Lithium batteries (non-rechargable) which will give over 10 hours.

You can Tag your clips on the fly, which will bookmark them for you so that you can go straight to the action when you get home. To extend your recording time and maximize the action in your clips, you can also shoot in the Clip mode.

Recording in Clip mode allows you to record for longer. Simply go into the menu, set your loop time (for example 5 minutes) and then start recording. The POV1.5 will record in a continuous loop (e.g. a 5 minute loop), recording over itself until you hit the tag button. When you hit the tag button, the clip is saved and a new clip started. In this example, this means that you will record back in time for 5 minutes from when you hit the tag button. With loop mode, you can have the POV1.5 going all day, but only keep the stuff you want.

You can then edit and share your videos quickly and easily with the included POV1 Manager software (PC only). The POV1 manager software allows you to organize your video clips in a dedicated library and create a video from your individual clips. With the click of a button you can then share your video with your friends, who will be sent a link to the video in the on-line POV1 video gallery.

You can also hook the POV1.5 up to your TV and watch your clips with the supplied AV cable.
